5 foods that made me gain weight in Sri Lanka

What makes you fat in Sri Lanka? Almost everything. From my experience, dishes in Sri Lanka are full of fat and sugar! Be aware of it. If you want to keep you figure as it is, you need to think twice what to eat and how to burn extra calories. It’s true, that traditional curry is so damn spicy, that it will help your body with burning and possibly you won’t eat that much of it. However, you’ll be most probably served with 80% of rice (!) and only 20% of the mains on your plate.
Here are 5 foods which will make you feel good, BUT will cause you troubles, if you will be over-hungry.
1. Fried SHORTIES and too much STRING HOPPERS
2. MILK TEA (black tea with milk and sugar) and sweet coconut pancake
3. Delicious but sweet PAPAYA (it’s full of sugar!)
4. SOFT DRINKS like Coca-Cola drunk instead of water
